Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are engaged!
On Instagram, Fox shared a video of the proposal, which took place on Jan. 11, over a year since they made their relationship public.
In her caption, the “Transformers” star recalled the pain they faced together “in such a short, frenetic period of time,” and the “work and sacrifices” that the relationship required from them.
“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” she said.
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes,” she added.
Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, also shared the news on his Instagram, saying he asked Fox to marry him “beneath the same branches [they] fell in love under.”
The rapper even gave some deets about the engagement ring, saying he helped design it.
“I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love,” he said.
The couple made their relationship Instagram official in July 2020.
